WHAT'S IT ABOUT:
You pick between Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Toad, Wario, Yoshi and Princess Peach and you take your car. You then race to the around some track three times and if you're the first to cross, you win! Hooray! And that is the plot of this; just win. There's no story, no fancy cut-scenes or even anything that resembles a plot at all!
WHY I LIKE IT:
This game is both awesome on its own and as a great party game. The controls are extremely smooth and stands as one of the best control schemes for a racing game ever. The graphics are bright and colorful. The level design is great with plenty of details to get lost behind. Even the battle mode in this game gets an upgrade from the Super Nintendo version of Mario Kart with better aiming for weapons, making head-to-head combat awesome. If anything, this game has given me great memories with friends.
